Welcome to the Kendall Bayne Foundation. We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that honors the life and memory of Kendall LeeAnn Bayne, a Cave Spring High School graduate who waged a courageous battle against a rare form of cancer. Please have a look around our site, and let us know if you have any questions about our organization or how you can help.
What We’re Doing
The Kendall Bayne Foundation strives to make a positive impact on global and local communities in honor of Kendall Bayne.
- Scholarship: The Kendall Bayne College Scholarship, a $10,000 scholarship in the Roanoke Valley, Virginia, is awarded to a high school senior pursuing a college degree who supports our mission by exuding grace, dignity, and positivity.
- Support: Our Lemon-Aid initiative is a backpack program for young adults — ages 15-35 — undergoing chemotherapy. Our backpacks are filled with care items that bring the comforts of home during their hospital stay.
- Education: The Kendall Bayne School in Kigali, Rwanda was built in 2016 to provide basic education and educational materials for 160 boys and girls to empower students to overcome adversity.
