The Kendall Bayne Foundation will host a “Fall Fashionable Fundraiser” luncheon at the Roanoke Country Club on November 11, 2016. This event will include a silent auction as well as a three-item live auction. Punch, Vivendi, and Henri Kessler are the vendors for the fashion show.
Fall Fashionable Fundraiser Honors Kendall Bayne
This special event will honor the life of Kendall Bayne, a Roanoke resident who passed away in October of 2015 after an almost five-year battle with cancer. She was 19 years old.
Items for the silent auction include a personalized Yeti tumbler, gift certificates to local restaurants, gift baskets and more! The live auction will include:
- A week’s stay at an eight-bedroom, ocean-front home at the Outer Banks
- A four-day / three-night stay at Myrtle Beach, including golf
- An original painting by artist Katrina Bell
The event features an auction preview from 11:00 – 11:30 a.m. with complimentary Mimosas and Bloody Mary’s, followed by the three-item live auction, lunch, and fashion show.
The Kendall Bayne Foundation was established in 2016 by high school freshman, Maverick Helmer. The Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, and plans to raise funds for the establishment of the Kendall Bayne College Scholarship, T-Gen cancer research and First Descents, a non-profit organization offering young adults with cancer a free outdoor adventure program. The inaugural Kendall Bayne College Scholarship will be awarded to a 2017 graduating senior.
